Albert Day

March 6, 1944 — December 20, 2013

Albert C. Day, 69, of Kuttawa, KY, passed away at 11:38 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Baptist Health Paducah. Mr. Day was of the Christian faith and was a retired truck driver and equipment operator with Federal Materials.

Albert is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jo Tucker Day; a daughter, Sherry Gail Day Stanton and husband, Johnny of Paducah; two sons, Timothy Day and wife, Shalon of Paducah and Christopher Day of Kuttawa; eight grandchildren, Christina Day, Tyler Stanton, Chris Stanton, Brandon Stanton, April Day, Timothy Day II, Cadrian Day and Steele Day; one great grandson, Gunner Blankenship; four sisters, Lydia Hicks and husband Bill of Paducah, Theresa Lambright and husband, Calvin of Washington State, Mary Futrell and husband, Dwain of Boaz and Brenda Jackson and husband, Gary of Reidland; four brothers, Nath Day and wife, Sharon of Paducah, Daniel Day and wife, Louise of Kuttawa, Jess Day of Paducah and Charles Day and wife, Faith of Paducah; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, McCall Day; sister, Cora Baker and a brother, Theodore Hall. His parents were Milton and Addie Hall Day.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

The Day family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
