A. R. "Randolph"Tucker, 73 of Sharpe, Kentucky passed away at 5:15 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 at Superior Care Home of Paducah. He was retired from Bellsouth Telephone Company and AT&T after 30 years of service as a Foreman and Western Baptist Hospital as a Communication Tech with 17 years of service. Randolph spent many years installing the communication phones for the Lions Club Telethon. He attended Concord United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Army 101st Airborne Division as a Medic during the Vetnam War. Randolph loved his family and was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
Randolph is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jane Jett Tucker of Sharpe, Kentucky; daughters, Tamara Tucker McCarty and husband Steve of Paducah, Kentucky, Cynthia Tucker Smith and husband Wade of Calvert City, Kentucky; sisters, Anne Gorman of Lexington, Kentucky, Anita Gleeson of Paducah, Kentucky, Aretta Hollowell of Paducah, Kentucky; brother, Irvin Tucker of Sharpe, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Christopher Tucker Smith, Randolph Blake Smith, Matthew Jordan; two great grandchildren, Lillian Smith and Abigale Smith; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Rhonda Beyer. His parents were Albert Ray Tucker and Mildred Spears Tucker.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
