Anna Finley

Anna Gorham Finley, 83, of Paducah, KY passed from this life at her home Friday, October 3, 2014. She was a social worker for Family Services of Paducah for many years. Anna was a faithful member of Highland Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School to both children and adults. Sharing God's Word was her heart. She was also a talented artist who shared her gift freely with others. She was a 1949 graduate of Augusta Tilghman High School.

Anna is survived by her son, Eddie Finley and wife Heather of Dallas, Georgia; daughter, Reeda Finley Miller and husband Ron of Brookport, Illinois; ten grandchildren, Dawn Copely of Puryear, Tennessee, Shannon Nesvick and husband Adam of Clarksville, Indiana, Angelyn Straley and husband Jimmy of Ft. Worth, Texas, Shane Miller and Brandy Miller of Brookport, Illinois, James Miller and Morgaine Miller of California, Morgan Finley, McKenzie Finley, Kaitlyn Barfield all of Dallas, Georgia; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jane Finley of Davenport, Florida and two sisters, Letha Dycus and Mary Horner Cossiboom and husband Wes of Paducah, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reed Finley, one son, James Marlon Finley. Her parents were Harold and Cornelia Hicks Gorham.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Allie Rudolph and Rev. Brent Ballow officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
