Funeral services for Anna-Maria Daneill Shane, 29, of Paducah will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Jack Rogers and Dr. Brad Beard officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Shane died Sunday, January 18, 2009, at her residence.
Born in Homestead, Fla., she was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a Legal Assistant with Kenneth Anderson, Attorney at Law. She was also a member of the Paducah Art Guild and had attended the Gospel Assembly Church.
She is survived by her father, Tim Sweeney of Paducah; her mother and stepfather, Kim and Jeremy Rogers of Zalma, Mo.; a daughter, Lydia Catherine Hunt of Lowes, Ky.; a son, Steele Daniel Herman Hunt, also of Lowes; a sister, Moriah Voss of Marble Hill, Mo.; and a brother and his wife, Luke and Brittany Sweeney of Paducah. She is also survived by her grandparents, Roy D. and Barbara Vasseur of Calvert City and Gatian Sweeney of Spearfish, S.D.; one niece, Essabella Voss of Marble Hill; her former husband, Chad Hunt of Lowes; as well as a number of aunts and uncles.
Mrs. Shane was preceded in death by a son, William Stone Mills, and her grandfather, Sylvester Sweeney.
She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother and friend and her beauty will live forever.
