Arrie Pirtle

Arrie Lee Pirtle, 100, passed away at 6:50 pm Thursday May, 1, 2014 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab.
Mrs. Pirtle was of the Church of Christ faith, a lifetime member of Westend Home Makers Club, a lifetime member of the Clara Hendricks chapter of the Eastern Star and a member of the Paducah Lioness Club.
She is survived by her two daughters, Vicki Knight and husband John of West Paducah, Linda England and husband James of West Paducah; one son, Robert F. Pirtle and wife Marilyn of Paducah; six grandchildren, Robert F. Pirtle Jr. of Indianapolis IN, Jamie England and wife Jackie of West Paducah, Lindsay Leigh England of Birmingham AL, William John Knight of Houston TX, Lee Anne Smotherman of Paducah, Kathy Hamilton of Paducah; three great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Stanley Pirtle, and one daughter Nancy Nichols, and one infant son Charles Stanley Pirtle. Her parents were Charles M. Tackitt and Maggie Arrie Freeman Tackitt.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday, May, 5, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating. Entombment will follow.
Visitation for Mrs. Pirtle will be from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm Monday May, 5, 2114 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
