Austin "Cheese" Mohr, 21, of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away at 9:21 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Baptist Health Paducah. He was a Assistant Manager for Dollar General and a member of Southland Baptist Temple. Austin was a twenty year cancer survivor and was very active in the Relay for Life where he just completed his 20th Relay for Life on June 3, 2017. He enjoyed online gaming and played with people and friends from all over the country.
Austin is survived by his parents, Doug and Lisa Cole Mohr of Calvert City, Kentucky; brothers, Bryan Mohr and wife Tasha, Eric Mohr and fiancee Brittany Lyles all of Reidland, Kentucky; grandmothers, Kay Shockley and Jan Mohr both of Paducah, Kentucky; uncles, Joe Mohr of Orange City, Florida and Eddie Cole of Aurora, Kentucky; aunt, Cindy Cornwell of Paducah, Kentucky; niece, Amelia Kay Mohr of Reidland, Kentucky; cousins, Tessa Taylor of Paducah, Kentucky, Darren Cole of Paducah, Kentucky and Brenden Mohr of Metropolis, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather's, David Mohr, Ed Cole and David Shockley.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Southland Baptist Temple with Rev. Jimmy Franks and Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will folllow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the church.
