Bentley William Knapps, 2, of Paducah, passed away at 8:37 a.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Bentley was a fighter who against all odds, lived for two years. He brought joy, happiness and love to all who met him. He touched many lives and helped those who knew him to be a better person. Bentley enjoyed being rocked by his mom and watching Mickey Mouse.
Bentley is survived by his mother, Tara Pierce of Paducah; four sister, Nichole Stinnett, Taylor Pierce and significant other Dustin Gray, Kelsey Pierce, and Addlyn Stinnett; one brother, Landon Cooper; grandparents, Loretta Pierce, Wanda Schultz, Billy Pierce; three nieces, Caliann Gray, Skyler Johnson and Natalie Johnson; one nephew, Isaiah Gray.
The family would like to extend a special thank you for all the love and support to the staff at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center, the Lourdes Hospital Staff, the NICU staff at Western Baptist Hospital, Tracy Frye, and Hospice Home Care.
Funeral service for Bentley will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Chaplain Brent Easton officiating. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
