Billie Jean Bland, 79, of Paducah, Ky., died Tuesday at 9:20 a.m. at Parkview Nursing Home.
Mrs. Bland was a retired cashier for Myrick's Grocery Store and a member of First Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Charles (Chuck) Bland of Paducah, Ky; daughter, Vickie Robertson of Eddyville, Ky.; two sons, Randy Bland of Reidland, Ky., and Tim Bland of San Francisco, Calif.; three sisters, Betty Anderson of Paducah, Ky., Barbara Vandevelde of Willingboro, N.J., and Jo Ann Peck of Paducah, Ky.; one brother, William Davis of Granite City, Ill.; two grandsons, T.J. Bland of Miami, Fla., and Daniel Robertson of Johnson City, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernell (Bill) Clifton Davis and Versie Stokes Davis; and one brother, Charles Davis.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Paul Hatcher officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
