Billy Boren

Billy G. Boren Sr., passed away at 1:30 am on August, 1, 2014 at The Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion IL.

He had worked for Florshiem Shoe Factory and Tele service here in Paducah. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He is survived by one daughter Sheila M. Boren of Paducah; one son, Billy G. Boren Jr. and wife Angie Carol, of Fancy Farm; one sister Dorothy Ellis of Paducah; one brother, William Boren of Paducah; 10 grandchildren, Jake Lynn Boren of Paducah, Kari Michelle Reeves and husband Christianof Mayfield, Tiana Lynn Boren of Fancy Farm, William Boren of Fancy Farm, Noah Boren of Fancy Farm, Conner Boren of Fancy Farm, Zachery Boren of Fancy Farm, Andrea Broach of Murray KY, Bobby Oliver of Murray KY, , Jazmin Oliver; four great grandchildren, Madison Reeves , Jamie Broach, Chelsea Broach, and one unborn baby due in December; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife Loretta June Adkins Ringstaff Boren; one brother Gordon Boren; two grandchildren Johnny Allen-Henry Oliver, Santana Dianne Boren and one great grandchild, Justice Lynn Boren. His parents were William Lester Boren and Janie Marie McCoin Boren.

A memorial service is scheduled for 12:30 pm on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mike Moynahan officiating. Military Honors will follow. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
