Billy Don Klinghammer, 61, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 6:20 am Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Lourdes Hospital. He was retired from Honeywell, where he was the former union president.

Billy was born September 8, 1953 in Paducah, KY. He served his country in the United States Navy and has always had a love for the area lakes as well as the ocean. He was a good "PaPa", to whom his grandchildren were very important. Always quick to help those in need, he will be fondly remembered as a selfless man who always put others first.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Debbie Klinghammer, of Paducah, KY; his daughters, Candice Karnes and husband Chase and Jessica West and husband Eric, all of Paducah, KY; his son Dylan Klinghammer, of Paducah, KY; his mother, Mildred Tucker Butler, of Paducah, KY; his sisters, Jean Reynolds, of Decatur, IL and Linda Barnhardt and husband Bob, of Chaffee, MO; his brothers, Wayne and Dickey Duncan, both of Paducah, KY, Fred Klinghammer and wife Kathy, of Mt. Zion, IL and Harold Klinghammer, of Taylorville, IL; his grandchildren, Emily and Aubrey West, and Mason Karnes, all of Paducah, KY; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Klinghammer; his sister, Sue Nagy; and his brother, Mike Nelson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Bro. Jim Glover and Tommy Moore will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
