Maggie Gordon Campbell Born, 95, a resident of Morningside of Paducah, died at 7:35 p.m. Saturday at Lourdes Hospital.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with visitation this evening from 5 to 8 p.m. and in the hour preceding the service Tuesday. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Garden.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and was retired from the Singer Sewing Company. She was widely known for her exceptional handiworks that included sewing, needlework of all kinds, and doll making.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Helmut Born; parents, John and Bessie Arant Gordon; sister, Lillian Bruce; and brother, Lewis Gordon.
Mrs. Born is survived by one son, Benny Campbell and wife Martha of Paducah; two sisters, Stella Barefield of Paducah and Lena Pearl Foss of Florida; a grandson, Wayne Campbell and wife Pam of Nashville, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Eli Campbell of Knoxville and Claire Campbell, a student at the University of Memphis; and several nieces and nephews.
