Brenda Gibbs

Brenda Snow Gibbs, 71, of Hickory, loving wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord on January 1, 2014 at her son's home in Boaz.
She was a retired nurse for Dr. Robert Burnett, a member of Liberty Baptist Church, and often attended Trace Creek Baptist Church with her family.
She is survived by her husband Seldon Gibbs; her mother, Mildred Pierce Snow of Mayfield; son, Richard Todd Oliver and wife Lynda of Boaz; sister, Norma Sue Underwood, of Hickory; two grandchildren, Austin Oliver, Drew Oliver; and four nieces and nephews, Jill Marsh of Houston, Jon Snow, Tim Prater, and Kimberly Prater.
She was preceded in death by her father Dalton Snow; her daughter Cynthia Jean Oliver; sister Shirley Mae Prater; two brothers, Larry Dalton Snow, Bobby Dale Snow; and one nephew Chris Snow.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gibbs will be 2:00 pm Sunday January 5, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Stinson Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for Mrs. Gibbs will be 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Saturday January, 4, 2014 at the funeral home.
