Charles R. Bland, 79, of Paducah, KY died at 6:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2009 at his residence.
He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Charles was a retired Sales Manager for Lumberteria, Incorporated and attended Heartland Worship Center. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Charles is survived by a daughter, Vickie Jean (William C.) Robertson of Eddyville, KY; sons, Randy (Deborah) Bland of Reidland, KY and Tim Bland of San Francisco, CA; Sister, Ester Hart of Albuquerque, N.M.; his twin brother, Jim Bland of Sierra Vista, AZ; Grandchildren, T.J. (Bianca) Bland of Miami, FL and Daniel (Natalie) Robertson of Johnson City, TN; Great Grandchild, Zoe Bland of Miami, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Davis Bland; sister, Eula Unger; brother, Lester Bland. His parents were Thomas L. and Lora E. Bridges Bland.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2009 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Brett Glover officiating.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. til 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
