Charles Michael McClure, 64, of Paducah, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013, at 2 a.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.
He was a graduate of Lone Oak High School and a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. Michael was a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a degree in Horticulture and then moved to California, where he worked for Pepperdine University as a buyer. When he returned to Paducah after several years in California, he was self-employed in lawn care and maintenance until his retirement due to health problems.
Survivors include his mother, Vera Dennison McClure of Paducah; one sister, Denise Turner of Paducah; special niece, Kristi Thorsby and husband Jim of Schuarita, Ariz; special nephew, Aaron Gill of Paducah; special great-nieces and nephews; and three special friends, Gayle Richards, Renee Williams and Tina Owen.
Preceding in death was his father, Charles McClure.
Graveside services will be held Monday, November 11, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Royce Dukes officiating. Friends may call Monday, November 11, 2013, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
