Charles Thomas

Charles William Thomas, 68, of Paducah died Saturday at Western Baptist Hospital.

Mr. Thomas was a native of Maysville, retired from Westlake chemical plant and was a member of Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Anna Thomas; two sons, William D. Thomas of Old Hickory, Tenn., and Derrick L. Thomas of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter, Jennifer L. Thomas of Madison, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred L. Thomas Sr. and Alberta Redmond Thomas, and one brother.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday at Mundy Funeral Home and after noon Thursday at the church.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Washington Street Baptist Church Renovation Fund.
