Connie Hayden

Connie E. 'Gene' Hayden, age 82, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at McCracken Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Hayden was a retired supervisor for Arkema in Calvert City, a member of Destiny Church and a U.S. Air Force Korean war veteran.

Mr. Hayden is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Hayden of Paducah, KY, Cynthia Hayden Burns and husband Michael of Long Island, NY; four sons, Rev. Leland Hayden and wife Connie of Paducah, Wade Hayden and wife Jean of Paducah, Bruce Hayden of Florida, Rev. Michael Hayden and wife Theresa of Paducah; eight grandchildren, Nathanael Hayden, Tara Hayden, Jason Hoover, Rachel Colson, Ragan Reed, Adam Gilbert, Joshua Hayden and Christopher Burns; nine great grandchildren, McKenna Hayden, Connor Hayden, Hannah Hoover, Gunner Hoover, Madyln Colson, Landon Colson, William Reed, Wyatt Gilbert and David Reed; four sisters, Elizabeth Wilson, Betty Pascal, Nita Ellegood and Carol Wiley all of Fancy Farm, KY; two brothers, Jerry Hayden and David Hayden both of Fancy Farm, KY; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Ellegood Hayden; grandchild, Benjamin Hayden; two sisters, Barbara Higgins and Patricia Burgess. His parents were Connie and Cassie Womack Hayden.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Michael Hayden and Rev. Leland Hayden officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
