Cora Sherron

Cora Lee Sherron, 95 of Boaz , KY died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at McCracken County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Cora Lee was a long time member of Massac United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was a member of the Lone Oak Lions Club, Antique Tractor Club and Florida Fly-Wheelers. Cora Lee was a devoted wife, mother and grand-mother and enjoyed traveling, going to flea markets and tractor shows. Cora Lee enjoyed their stay in Florida during the winter months for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Harold Sherron; one son, Ricky Sherron of Boaz, KY; one brother, Harry Hershel Culp of Paducah, KY; two grandchildren, Mary Sherron and Ricky Ray Sherron; three great grandchildren, Victoria, Myiah and Kayla Sherron; one daughter-in-law, Teresa Sherron of Metropolis, IL, several nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death were parents, Berg Levi Culp & Louetta Bortroll Culp; two sons, Rodney Sherron and Randy Sherron; one brother, Virgil Culp and one sister, Jessie Smith.

Services will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Massac United Methodist Church with Rev. John Smithmier officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the church.
