Densel Alvey

Densel Dewayne Alvey Sr. age 81 of Paducah passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at 10:15 P.M. at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center.

Mr. Alvey was a native of Paducah. He was owner and operator of Alvey's Used Cars, and was also known for his roll in Gospel Music where he sang with his family known as The Alvey"s. He was a member of the Victory Assembly Worship Center. He is survived by his wife, Joy Turner Alvey. His daughter, Lisa Mummert of Mt Juliet, TN. Two sons, Donnie Alvey and Denny Alvey both of Paducah. one brother, Lindle Alvey of Paducah. Two sisters, Ludene Salas of California and Gloria Urban of Oregon. Five grandchildren three step grandchildren two great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Mirril Alvey and Lorena Ivey Alvey.

Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the Victory Assembly Worship Center with the Rev Gary DeRossett officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will also be held at the church Thursday, where friends may visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M.
