Donald Nothdurft

Donald Paul Nothdurft, 82, of Boaz, KY, died at 6:45 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Nothdurft was a retired railroad engineer for ICG Railroad, he was a Korean War Army Veteran and his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was non- denominational.

Mr. Nothdurft is survived by his wife of 59 years, Opal Mae White Nothdurft; two daughters, Karen Sue Nothdurft Rayl and Carol Denise Nothdurft Garretson both of Ada, Ohio; two sons, Donald Bruce Nothdurft of Midland, NC and Brien Edwin Nothdurft of Mayfield, KY; brother, Leonard Nothdurft of Chaffee, MO; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Nothdurft Baker; brother, Richard Eugene Nothdurft. His parents were Herman and Edith Wilfreth Nothdurft.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Phillip Farris and Bill Denk officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. on Monday at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
