Donald Swinford

Donald “Don” Swinford, 90, of Paducah, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at Baptist Health Hospital.

Don was of the Church of Christ faith. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. Don was a very kind, caring, and generous Christian man who loved his family. He was happily retired and enjoyed watching baseball and basketball.

Don is survived by his wife, Patricia Swinford of Paducah; three children, Teresa (Ted) Howard of Cary, NC, Dondrea (Eddie) Sullivan of Austin, TX, and Todd Swinford of Paducah; four grandchildren, Taylor Howard of Charlotte, NC, Tucker Howard of Greenville, SC, Ty Swinford of Paducah, and Megan Swinford of Paducah; two sisters, Mildred Younkin of Herrin, IL, and Bonnie Stimac of Schererville, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Don in death are his parents, Fred and Agnes Swinford, and nine siblings.

A funeral service for Don will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 10:00 am at Lindsey Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Faughn officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
