Doris Goldsmith

Doris Goldsmith, 98, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 7:40 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Lowell, Indiana. She worked for State Farm Insurance and was of the Presbyterian faith. Doris was an excellent Seamtress.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Johnston and husband Jim of Paducah, Kentucky and Ellen Brody and husband Ken of Paducah, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Laura Conley and husband David, Eileen Miller and husband Geno, Julie Stinnett and husband Brian, Ben Brody and wife Jodi; eight great grandchildren, Madelyn Conley, James Conley, Connor Miller, Brady Miller, Garrett Miller, Madison Stinnett, Eric Brody and Taylor Brody.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Stanley Goldsmith; brother, Richard A. Waters; mother, Vera Grace Longbrake Waters; father and step mother, Cecil Perrin Waters and Evelyn Howery Waters.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Stan Reid officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
