Doris May Sutton Brown, 91 of Paducah passed away at 12:03PM Friday, February 21, 2014 at her residence.
She was a former cook for the Holman House restaurant and a member of the Central Church of Christ.
She is survived by three sons, James D. Sutton of Paducah, KY, Robert David Sutton of Houston, TX and Jeffrey Kent Sutton of Atlanta, Ga; eight sisters, Martha Hausman, Adda Huges, Betty Englert, Kathleen Watson, Rose Hopkins, Jean Traughber, Faye Beeler and Kaye Leavitt; four brothers, Charles Darnell, Bill Darnell, Jerry Darnell and Richard Darnell; ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, James Robert Sutton; her 2nd husband, Arzie Brown; her parents, Cecil and Vera Youngblood Darnell; two sons, Gary Lee Sutton and Mark Kevin Sutton; one sister, Loma Reaves and one grandson, Daniel David Sutton.
Funeral services will be Monday, February 24, 2014 at 1pm at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Jim Faughn officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00PM on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Expressions of Sympathy may take the form of contributions to Central Church of Christ, 2201 Washington Street, Paducah, KY 42003.
