Dorothy Dodson

Dorothy B. Dodson, 92, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 6:10 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah. She was born in Lyon County, KY. Dorothy worked for Magnavox, Florsheim Shoe Factory and for Ashland Oil Company. She was a member of the Margaret Hank Memorial Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Dorothy is survived by her husband and would have celebrated their 77th Wedding Anniversary Saturday, December 26, 2015, James Edward Dodson of Paducah, KY; sons, Ronald Wayne Dodson and wife Pat of Paducah, KY and James Daryl Dodson and wife Marjorie of St. Thomas, Virgin Island; grandchildren, Marjorie, Travis, Mike and Mark; great grandchildren, Mitchell, Maria, Mallie and Blake.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross Powers and Mamie Bearfield Powers.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Chris Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
