Earlene Mitchell

February 25, 1930 — October 25, 2013

Earlene Boaz Mitchell, 83, of Paducah passed away Friday, October 25, 2013, at her home.

Earlene was a member of the New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a 1948 graduate of Lone Oak High School. She was a charter member of Coca-Cola Collection Club. Earlene enjoyed people and being able to entertain, baking and making jellies to share with others and took great pride in her yard and flowers. She enjoyed her dog, "Bella" and telling stories about her.

Survivors include twin sister, Ernestene (Perryman) Sellars of Reidland, KY., sister, Linda (Randall) Boggess of Paducah, KY.; five nieces, Lisa (Max) Hampton of Boaz, KY., Rita (Keith) Crouch of Cookville, Tn., Vanessa Boaz (Matthew) Dobring of Bowling Green, KY., Marlene (James) Wallace of Paducah, Lynette (Wilbur) Neff of Benton, KY.; five nephews, Keith (Diane) Boggess of Exton, PA., Kevin (Joellyn) Boggess of Springhill, TN., Bob Brannon of Nashville, TN., Gary Mitchell of Benton, KY., and Julian (Ginger) Mitchell of Paducah, KY.; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preceding in death was husband, Alfred "Al" Mitchell; parents, William Earl Boaz & Mary Josephine Starr Boaz; brother, Gene Boaz and nephew, Warren Boaz.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Curtis Franklin officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
