Edith Peyton DeBold, 101 years old, of Paducah, passed away at 1:45 am on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Edith was a Bookkeeper and Office Manager for Paducah Service Company. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and attended Lone Oak First Baptist Church. She was member of the Homemakers and a member of the Professional Business Women’s Association.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Edward DeBold; sister-in-law, Wilma Johnson Peyton of Paducah; eight nieces and nephews, Carol Howle of West Paducah; Donna Korte and husband, Kent of Metropolis, IL, Dianne Carter of Lone Oak, Karen Street and husband, Ronald of Kevil, Cindy Stimson and husband, Rick of West Paducah, Ronnie Wallace of Jackson, MI, Kenny Cooper of Kevil, Chris Cooper of IL; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Nina Peyton Wallace, Mary Peyton Stone, Martha Peyton Cooper and her brother, Paul Edward Peyton. Her parents were Edward R. Peyton and Maggie Dillworth Peyton.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in the chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30am until 12:30 pm on Wednesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
