Edward Evans

Edward 'Eddie' Evans, 62, of Gage, KY, passed away at 6:16 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Baptist Health Paducah. Mr. Evans was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, was retired from Westvaco and was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Robin Terrell Evans; three daughters, Mandy Evans Lee (Michael) of Cunningham, KY, Lyndsay Evans (Jenn) of Paducah, KY and Melissa Chandler (Tyke) of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren, Brandon Lee, Chad Lee, Mathew Lee and Allyson Lee; a sister, Bettye Cox of Ocala, FL and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Evans; two sisters, June Werle and Shirley Crane; two brothers, Frank Evans Jr. and Eugene Evans. His parents were Frank and Oma Owens Evans.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The Evans family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
