ELAINE ROGERS

Elaine Rogers, age 88, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, Kentucky.

Elaine was born in Crittenden County, Kentucky on Sunday, June 24, 1934 to Lyman and Lucy Perkins. She was a born again believer and longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She and her late husband, Gerald Rogers were married in Frances Ky on December 19, 1954. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She loved to draw and paint, especially birds.

Mrs. Rogers is survied by her daughter, Melinda Walls (David) of Dawson Springs, Kentucky; her son, Brent Rogers of Nunnelly, Tennessee; her sister, Dorothy Schmidt of Malvern, Pennsylvania; her brother, Lyman Perkins, Jr; her grandchildren, Brandi Gramse(Josh Clary), Nat Rogers(Kayla), Noah Rogers and Nathaniel Walls; her great grandchildren, Briley, Caden, Thomas, Blakely and Kasen

Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband of 51 yrs, Gerald Rogers; her parents, Lyman Perkins and Lucy Patton Perkins; her brothers, Donald Perkins and Billy Wayne Perkins.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Broome officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 -1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the Lone Oak Chapel.
