Elizabeth Medley

November 15, 1928 — May 22, 2015

Elizabeth Medley, 86, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away Friday evening, May 22nd, 2015 at the Lourdes Hospice Care Center.
Liz was born in McCracken County, to Cordelia Richardson and Hattie Harris Richardson. She retired as a Respiratory Therapist from Lourdes Hospital and was a member of Southland Baptist Temple. More than anything, she was a Mom and a Grandma who enjoyed having her family around and spoiling all her grandchildren. She loved the Lord, her family and friends with her whole heart. She was the epitome of love.
She is survived by two daughters, Delores Bryd of Paducah and Judith (Tony) Brown of Owensboro; four grandchildren, Dennis (Natalie) Hooker, Darrin Hooker, Richard Cornwell, Jeri (Brad) Riley, as well as "adopted" granddaughter, Sandra Guess; nine great- grandchildren, Jacob Doughty, Tanner (Amanda) Hooker, Jessica Turner, Kasi Turner, Chandler Cornwell, Tyler Hooker, Chelsea Riley, Cole Riley, and Alivia Boulton; two great-great granddaughters, Peyton Hooker and Ella Elizabeth Archer; one brother, Bobby (Carolyn) Richardson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Medley; her brother, Jimmy Richardson, and her grandparents, Josh and Varie Hutchison Harris and Andrew and Nancy Leaner Richardson.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 26th, 2015 at 12pm at Lindsey Funeral Home with Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
Friends may visit on Monday, May 25th between 5:00pm and 8:00pm, and Tuesday May 26th from 9am till the funeral hour of noon at the funeral home.
