Emma Jean Carper, 84, of Paducah died at 2:45 p.m. Friday at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Carper was a housewife, a member of Arcadia United Methodist Church, a member of Faithful Workers a Western Baptist Auxiliary volunteer and a member of Telephone Pioneers.
Survivors include one son, Curtis Blaine Carper of Paducah; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil L. Carper; an infant son; two brother; and two sisters. Her parents were Marcus Rhea Warren and Matie Watkins Warren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Paul Mullikin officiating.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Arcadia United Methodist Church, 261 Lone Oak Road, Paducah, KY 42001.
