Fred Keeling

Fred Lincoln Keeling, age 95, a long life resident of McCracken County went home to be with his Lord on Sept. 9, 2011, at 8:20 p.m. from the Green Acres Health Care in Mayfield, Ky.

Mr. Keeling was a native of McCracken County.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Ella Mae Gass Keeling; daughter, Cindy Spees and husband, Stan of Paducah; son, Eddie Keeling of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, Roscoe Keeling and wife, Ruth of Lone Oak; and a sister, Mary Burnett and husband, Bob of Lexington Ky.; three grandchildren, Jason Keeling and wife, Victoria, Andrea Poat and husband, Charley, and Monica Spees; four great-grandchildren, Kailey Poat, Colin Poat, David Keeling and Melanie Keeling; and several nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra L. Keeling and Jessie Wyatt Keeling; and a brother, James Odis Keeling.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2011, at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Ben Boone officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
