George E. Elrod Jr., 59, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 7:35 am on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Lourdes Hospital.
He was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church and was a third degree Knight of Columbus.
Mr. Elrod is survived by his significant other, Maria Masterson of Paducah, KY; father, George E. Elrod Sr. of Detroit, MI; two daughters, Angela Allison of Paducah, KY, Sarah Ramsay and husband Keith of Richmond, KY; two sons, Jeremiah Elrod of Paducah, KY, Nathan Elrod of Paducah, KY; nine grandchildren, Jeremiah, Kylie, Alex, Abigail, Lexi, Zoe, Madalyn, Julianna, and Duncan; one step daughter, Beth Thompson and husband Matt of Paducah, KY; one step son, Zach Roberts of Paducah, KY; two sisters and five brothers.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cecila Kouri; one stepson, Robert Mattson; and two brothers.
Funeral service will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bruce Fogle officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Garden.
As per final request of George Elrod, an ice-cream social gathering will follow the interment from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall: 3028 Jefferson St, Paducah, KY 42001. Please join us to celebrate his life.
Visitation will be held from 10:30am until the service time of 11:00am on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
