Gertie Mae Anderson, 98, of Paducah died at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center.

Gertie Mae was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and a native of the Dogwood community in Graves County. She retired from Claussner's Hosiery Company, where she worked as an examiner.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Ann Hammons of Lone Oak, Ky.; two sons, Paul E. Anderson and wife Jean of Lone Oak, Ky., and Jerry Anderson and wife Sherry of Paducah, Ky.; five grandchildren, Barry Hammons, Mark Hammons and wife Pam, Steven Anderson, David Anderson and Heather Traylor and husband Mark; five great-grandchildren, Marcy Binkley and husband Brennon, Ellen Hammons Featherstone and husband Sam, Grant Hammons, Eric Anderson and Hibbs Traylor; one great-great-grandchild, Hudson Featherstone; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death were her husband, Paul B. Anderson; parents, W.T. Wilkins and Lula Kunkle Wilkins; one son, Charles Anderson; son-in-law, Harold Hammons; and three sisters and six brothers.

Graveside services will be held Friday, August 23, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Howard Fuller officiating.

There will be no public visitation.
