Glenda Timmons

Glenda L. Timmons, age 75, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 4:59 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Baptist Health Paducah. Mrs. Timmons was of the Pentecostal and Baptist Faith and she was a retired hairdresser and co-owner of Jimmy's Hairstylest.

Glenda was a lifelong servant of Jesus Christ who was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was proud of her grandchildren and loved watching them as they accomplished their life's goals and dreams. She was a talented artist and was known for her sense of humor and ability to tell a great story. She will be greatly missed, but her family is thankful for the promise of eternal life.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jimmy Frederick Timmons; three sons, Rick Timmons and wife Janice of Paducah, Patrick Timmons of Paducah and Dutchie Timmons and wife Angie of Paducah; six grandchildren, Lindsay Niedbalski of Nashville, IL, Amanda Bealmear of Hopkinsville, KY, Rae Anne Perry, Ryan Timmons, Preston Ursini and Ashton Ursini all of Paducah, KY; five great grandchildren, Conner Perry, Mailee Perry, Eli Crouch, Riley Bealmear and Peyton Bealmear; one sister, Marilyn Rebouche of Shreveport, LA.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Julius I. Barrett and James Eugene Barrett. Her parents were Julius and Lenora Wilson Barrett.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Sams officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
The Timmons family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
