Sue Hampton, 78, of Paducah died at 10:36 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at her home. Sue was a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ. She loved bowling and was involved with the Tuesday morning bowling league for many years. Sue was an avid doll collector and enjoyed camping and her loving dog, "Boomer."
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles Neal Hampton; two daughters, Suzie Atherton(Steve), Julie Scott (Derek) both of Paducah, KY; two sons Greg Hampton(Lisa), Mike Hampton (Sharon) both of Paducah, KY; one sister, Rena Rhoades (Rex), Comstock Park, MI; two brothers, Kenneth "Pete" Fleming (Patsy) and James "Jim" Fleming (Patty) both of MI; three grandchildren, Kyle Atherton (Jami), Leigh Johnson (Matt), Hanna Scott; one great-grand daughter, Madeline Brooke Johnson; four step-grandchildren, Kevin Pinner, Cory Heflin (Bridgette), Josh Hicks (Jamie), Derrek Ellis; nine step-great grandchildren, Hailey Pinner, Cameron Baker, Owen Heflin and Sophie Heflin, Blake Hicks and Dylan Hicks, Austin Ellis, Kyler Ellis and Kenzie Ellis; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Elmo Fleming & Tina Rose Fleming Wice; step-father, Howard Wice; one brother, Dolphus "Doc" Fleming; and step-grandson, Marine Sgt. Christopher Heflin.
Services will be held Monday, April, 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Jamey Boone officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 5:00-8:00- p.m. at Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
