Harry Wright

August 18, 1925 — July 5, 2011

Harry E. "Bill" Wright, 85, of Paducah died at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Lourdes hospital.

Mr. Wright was a retired equipment operator for the City of Paducah and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Wright and wife, Glenna, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Dennis Yates and wife, Jill, of Paducah; one daughter, DeVona Yates of Paducah; one sister, Jackie Ruth Aikin of West Point, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Steven Lynn Trimble, David Trimble, Gina Russell, Kayla Brown, Chris Wright; six great-grandchildren, Brady Trimble, Haley Lawrence, Sarah Trimble, Logan Lawrence, Jessie Trimble, William Trimble; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Harris Wright. His parents were Ben Wright and Hazel Dunn.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Leland Hayden officiating. There will be no visitation.
