Hildegard Woitke, 93, of Paducah, KY, passed away Thursday, January 04, 2018 at her home.
Hildegard was born in Marinbrorg, Germany on January 6, 1924 to Joseph Chamski and Gertrude Grutza. She was a longtime member of United Church of Paducah. Hildegard was a very giving and loving woman who was known for her gingerbread houses. She also enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are her children, Evelyn Woitke Anderson and husband Delbert of Murfreesboro, TN, William Woitke and wife Gloria of Owensboro, KY and Johnny Woitke and wife Karen of Calvert City, KY; two sisters; two brothers; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband of fifty-five years, Gunther Heinz Woitke; her parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home, with Rev. Claudia Polsgrove officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11:30 am Saturday at the Lone Oak Chapel.
