Irvin Tucker, age 82, of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health.
Irvin was born in Paducah, on January 6, 1941 to the late Albert Ray and Mildred Francis Spears Tucker. He was a member of Christian Fellowship Church, and a retired Heavy Equipment Operator at TVA Shawnee Steam Plant. Irvin was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 181 and a veteran of the United States Army. He loved to hunt and fish, and was known for his big sense of humor and love for a good joke. Irvin was very family oriented, he loved kids, his family, and his Yorkie “Charlie”. He will be missed by his friends and family.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife of 55 ½ years, Barbara Sharp Tucker; two sisters, Ann Gorman (John) and Anita Gleeson (Tommy); fifteen nieces and nephews; and eighteen great-nieces and great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by two sisters, Rhonda Beyer and Aretta Hollowell; one brother, Randolph “AR” Tucker; and his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Richie Clendenen officiating. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until service time of 12:00 P.M. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
