James Anglin

James Robert "Bob" Anglin, 88, of Paducah died at 8:50 p.m. Friday at Medco Center of Paducah.

Mr. Anglin was the former owner of Anglin Body Shop and Used Cars of Paducah, a U.S. Army World War II veteran and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1191 of Paducah. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

Surviving are one sister, Ruth Hagood of Paducah, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E.W. Anglin and Lena Hooper Anglin, and one sister.

Graveside services with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Larry Harris officiating.

There will be no visitation. Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1191, 1727 Washington St., Paducah, KY 42003.
