Brad Hawthorne, 56, of Paducah passed away at 5:00 pm Thursday, April, 3, 2014 at his residence.
He was the owner and operator of Hawthorne Properties LLC, a business he co-owned with his father and son. Brad had attended Heartland Worship Center and was ranked 9th in the world as a professional skeet shooter.
Brad is survived by his father, James Read Hawthorne of Paducah, son James B Hawthorne Jr. and wife Miranda of Paducah, daughter, Kelley Lynn Hawthorne of Nashville TN, son Samuel Owen Hawthorne of Coconut Creek FL; one sister Rebecca Sue Kearney and husband Dr. Robert Kearney of San Diego CA; and Jennifer Hawthorne; three grandchildren, Cole Bradley Hawthorne, Hunter Read Hawthorne, and Luke Riley Hawthorne; two nephews and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his mother Delores Hawthorne.
Funeral services for Brad will be 10:00 am Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Sams officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Brad will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home.
Expressions of sympathy to The National Rifle Association, 11250 Waples Mill Rd, Fairfax VA 22030; of a charity of your choice.
