James Buford

James "Adrian" Buford, age 90, of Plano, TX, for three and a half years, passed away July 10, 2017. He was born March 26, 1927, in Smithland, KY, to Horace Dean and Clarice D. (Crawford) Buford. James attended Prestonwood Baptist Church and was a 50 year member of the Sheet Metal Workers' Union Local 110. He loved music and taught himself to play the guitar. James also enjoyed using Facebook in order to keep up with his family, friends and grandchildren.

James is survived by his loving wife of 70 years: Emma Love Buford; son: James T. "Tim" Buford and wife Karen of Plano; daughter: Sherry Armstrong of San Antonio, TX; sister: Theora Humphrey of Louisville, KY; and grandchildren: Brandon Wyatt, Amy Wyatt, Heather Cochrane and James T. "Tim" Buford II; along with six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Haynes Buford, Tom Buford, Pete Buford and sister: Margie Weaver.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home, 120 Memorial Drive, Paducah, KY, with Rev. Paul Hatcher officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
