Jeanne Shelton

Jeanne Carroll Shelton, 92, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 8:10 A.M. Thursday, October 3, 2019 at her home.

Jeanne was born in Bardwell, Kentucky on October 3, 1927 to Bertram and Mildred Carroll. She was a longtime member of Central Church of Christ.

Mrs. Shelton is survived by her daughter, Julia Smithmier (David), of West Paducah; her Son, Wayne Shelton (Luanne), of Brookport, Illinois; her grandchildren, Kent Shelton (Leslie), Rebecca Smithmier Growel (Justin), Natalie Conn (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Hunter, Kinsey, Liam, Jeramiah, Eli, Royce, Jillian, Jordyn and Jada.

Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Morris F. Shelton; her parents; her brother, William Carroll.

A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 4, 2019 in the chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Jim Faughn officiating.

There is no visitation scheduled.
