After she died, he expanded that travel to the world including France, Greece, Australia, Russia, as well as many other locations. He traveled back to Normandy for both the 50th and 60th anniversaries of D-Day. His last and most memorable trip, was to take his granddaughter, Elley, to Israel and Jordan where they walked where Jesus walked and were baptized in the Jordan River.
