Judy Chapman, 77, of Paducah, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hopsice Care Center.
Judy was a loving and devoted mother who supported her children in their many endeavors. She attended Southland Baptist Temple.
She was born to Joseph and Juanita Hughes Scoggins in Paducah, Kentucky, March 8, 1941.
She is survived by two sons, John Chapman and wife Karen of Paducah, Mark Chapman and wife Casa of Memphis, Tennessee; three daughters, Ronda Chapman of Paducah, Shannon Tackett and husband Sam of Sedalia, Bonnie Carrico and husband Kevin of Boaz; seven grandchildren, Tiffany (Reuben) Gearhart of Paducah, Brittany Chapman of Memphis, Tennessee, Kara Doughty of Calvert City, Lacie (John) Maninga of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Trey Tackett of Christiansburg, Virginia, Tyler Carrico of Paducah, Heather Carrico of Louisville, Kentucky; nine great-grandchildren, Liam Gearhart, Charlotte Gearhart, Jarith Woodall, Logan Doughty, Peyton Fox, Braydon Fox, Dakota Maninga, Kaidyn Watkins, Caleb Watkins; three brothers, Larry (Linda) Scoggins, Jerry (Frances) Scoggins, Jerel (Anita) Scoggins; one sister, Jeanie (Mike) Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ronald Chapman; her parents; one grandson, Jordan Chapman; two sisters, Joyce Swart and Carol Tumilowicz.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Topper Council and Rev. Jim Gearhart officiating. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel.
