Julia Beyer

Julia, "Judy" Moore Beyer, age 73, of Lone Oak passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born in Jackson, TN and moved to Paducah as a child. Judy was a former employee of Paducah Bank where she worked as a proof operator. Judy loved camping, fishing, working outdoors and was a huge fan of University of Kentucky Wildcat basketball. Judy's hobby was giving and caring for others, and her prize possession however, was her family. She enjoyed having everyone in her home and preparing "large" delicious meals. She was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and a 1959 graduate of Lone Oak High School.

Judy leaves behind many friends and family including one daughter, Mona Beyer of Paducah, KY; one son Danny Beyer and wife Debbie Jeffrey Beyer of Boaz, KY; two sisters, Betty Ann Havner of Jackson, TN and Sandy Poat and husband Bobby of Paducah, KY; seven grandchildren, Lindsay Wren, Jeffersonville, IN, Tessa Wren Hooks and husband Matt of Paducah, KY, Morgan Beyer, Lincoln, NE, Cody Beyer, Boaz, KY, Gavin Wren, Paducah, KY, Mason Hunerkoch, and Daniel Hunerkoch both of Virginia Beach, VA; two great-grandchildren, Eli Camilotto, Clarksville, IN, Lucy Hooks, Paducah, KY; several nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by the love of her life of 52 years, Cliff Beyer, parents, Ovid and Esther Lee Martin Moore and one sister Jeanette Weber.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Dr. Dan Summerlin officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
