Kenneth Howle

August 19, 1942 — November 15, 2014

Kenneth Ray Howle, 72, of Paducah, KY passed away at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Ft. Pierce, FL. He was an retired Captain for the Paducah City Fire Department after 27 years of service and was the owner and operator of Kenneth Howle Excavating Company. Kenneth was a member of the Southland Baptist Temple where he was instrumental in the development of the Southland Ranch by doing all the excavating for the building of the ranch. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #181 and the Folsomdale Masonic Lodge #283 F&AM.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Barnhill Howle of Paducah, KY; daughters, Tammie Shelton and husband Chad of Kevil, KY and Cathy England and husband Ozzie of Paducah, KY; brother, James Howle of Eddyville, KY; grandchildren, Amanda Tucker and husband Jason of Boaz, KY, Katie England of Paducah, KY, Trevor England of Paducah, KY; great grandchildren, Wyatt Tucker and Weston Tucker both of Boaz, KY and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Hicks. His parents were Robert and Ruth McManus Howle.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Jimmy Franks officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
