Laura Sledd

Laura Louise Sledd, 85, of Paducah died at 1:07 a.m. Sunday, June 14, 2009, at Western Baptist Hospital.
A native of Crittenden County, Mrs. Sledd was a retired receptionist and a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie K. Sledd and wife Lisa of Paducah; one sister, Margaret Christine Chittenden of Smithland; and one grandson, Robert U. Sledd of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Uel K. Sledd; three sisters, Laugvine Marie Ralph, Pauline Sliger and Nellie Carmichael; and two brothers, Charles "Bud" Driver and Herschel Driver. Her parents were Lewis Driver and Nillie Lanham Driver.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Paul Wayne Chittenden will officiate.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. today at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
