Lela Warrene Wilbourn, 99, of Paducah died January 27, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Western Baptist Hospital.
She was a member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church, homemaker, and had a great love for raising roses and gardening. She was a native of Potts Camp, Miss.
Mrs. Wilbourn is survived by two daughters, Lela Cederholm (husband, Dean), Martha Mason (friend Roger Allcock); two sons, J.W. Wallace, and Billy Joe Wilbourn (wife, Wanda), all of Paducah; one sister, Lula May Miller, Water Valley, Miss.; one daughter-in-law, Sue Wilbourn, Paducah, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Wilbourn; parents, Warren and Lela Woodward Swindoll; two sons, S. Douglas Wallace and Jimmy Lee Wilbourn; three sisters and six brothers; two daughters-in-law, Louise Wallace and Charlene Wallace; one grandson, Jimmy Wilbourn Jr.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, from 12 p.m. until the service time of 2 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
The Funeral Service will be conducted by Rev. Louis Brinker, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
