Funeral services for Leland C. Casper, 86, of Paducah, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
He died Saturday at Culpepper Place in Paducah.
Leland was born December 5, 1923 in Anna, Illinois. He served in the Army and after returning to Paducah, he and Billy Joe Carroll owned and operated Tri-State Bus Lines for several years. Leland also worked at Greyhound Bus Lines until his retirement. He then bought a dump truck and worked independently around the Paducah area. Leland was very active in the Plain City Masonic Lodge No. 449.
Surviving are his brother, Harley Casper and wife Beverly of Kansas City, Mo.; daughter, Debbie Owens of Apopka, Fla.; two sons, Phil Block and wife Michelle of Lexington, Ky., and Don Block and wife Sue of Marietta, Ga.; and six grandchildren, Charlie Hutcherson, Travis Owens, Adam and Mary Block, and Barrett and Hillary Block.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Barbara Carroll Casper, and his parents.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
