Lera Pauline Hall, 91, of Paducah, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Superior Care Home.
A lifelong resident of the Paducah area, Pauline was born July 23, 1922 to the late Bruce and Glener Esther Powell Thompson. She graduated from Sharpe High school in 1941. Pauline retired from Western Baptist Hospital after working fifteen years in Central Supply. She was a longtime member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and served in the Reapers Sunday School Class. In addition, she was a member of Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing and being a seamstress for family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Eva Frances Hall Sherrill and husband Norris of Paducah; and two sisters, Lalah Mae Kaler of Symsonia and Esther Marie Thompson of Reidland.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Hollis Wyman Hall; and three brothers, Lexie Thompson, Bruce Luke Thompson and Tommy Dwight Thompson; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Dr. Dan Summerlin and Rev. Jeff Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
