Linda Sue Nanney, 82, of Paducah, died Saturday at Baptist Health Paducah.
Sue was born in Ballard County, KY on April 28, 1933 to the late John Lawrence Reber and Della Grim Reber. She retired from Bell South in 1985 after over thirty three years of employment and was a member of Communication Workers of America Labor Union. While working at the phone company, she worked as a test technician in the dial office. Sue was a longtime member of Concord United Methodist Church. She joined Eastern Star Lodge 424 in 1979 and served as Worthy Matron in 1985-86, and was a Duchess of Paducah.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Kay Nanney McReynolds and husband Kenneth of Kevil; grandchildren, Samuel McReynolds and wife Luz of Los Angeles, and Tara Mayberry and husband Randall of Spencerville, IN; and great-grandchildren, Maria Teresa McReynolds, Jace Mayberry and Kaylyn Mayberry.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Charley Lee Nanney; sisters, Mildred Snyder, Margaret Townsend, and Della Mae Futrell; and brothers, Lawrence Albert Reber, George Reber, and James Martin "Cap" Reber.
Memorial graveside services will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 10am at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Earl Dickerson officiating. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
